Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Emotional Freedom Technique is a tapping activity you can do that works to reset the body to reduce stress and anxiety. This was a really helpful tool during times of high stress and anxiety and even helped me release trapped worries and thoughts. Using this technique helped me to process some of my trapped emotions and energy surrounding my adoption, adopted life, birth family search, and reunion and even helped me to identify the root-cause of my fears and worries.

The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up
This book completely changed my life and allowed me to connect with my feelings in a profound way — all through tidying up! This book encourages readers to hold each item they own in a systematic program, called the KonMari Method, and ask if it sparks joy. If it doesn’t spark joy, then let it go. It was a wonderful exercise of self-growth for me to take each of my possessions in hand and to search my heart for if it brought me joy. I was able to connect with my heart in a deeper way and to know myself in a deeper way than I ever thought I could.

I shared on my blog how acupuncture changed my life. It leveled out my emotional roller coaster mood swings, balanced my hormones, and even elevated my mood to where I actually felt happier. It reduced my anxiety by helping me to step out of my own thoughts and to have more perspective and to even see things from other people’s perspective better. It also helped me to process through the emotions surrounding my birth family reunion. It’s important to find a skilled and compassionate practitioner.
